Butterfly Event – October 15, 2016

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – The North Shore Hospice hosted its annual “Butterfly Event” recognizing and celebrating the residents who spent their last days at the North Shore Hospice. North Shore Hospice Society board member and SPF Precut Lumber General Manager, Mo Amir, spoke at the event, to also commemorate SPF Precut Lumber co-founder, the late Shaheen Zafar.

Global Buyers Mission 2016 – September 8-10, 2016

WHISTLER, BC – At the annual Global Buyers Mission in Whistler, British Columbia, SPF Precut Lumber prominently exhibited and promoted Canadian softwood lumber exports to international buyers from all over the world. Throughout the event, SPF Precut Lumber had the opportunity to meet with new and existing customers, long-standing suppliers, and other important stakeholders. The SPF Precut Lumber team consisted of President Muhammad Amir, Fareed Amir, and Mo Amir. As the premier international softwood event held in Canada, including qualified international buyers from several countries around the world, SPF Precut Lumber – as a leader of BC softwood lumber exports – was well-positioned to promote BC forestry products.

Dubai Wood Show – April 4-6 2016

DUBAI, UAE – At the annual Dubai International Wood & Wood Machinery Show (Dubai Wood Show), SPF Precut Lumber once again exhibited to its stakeholders in the Middle East and South Asia. This regional landmark event for wood trade and investment at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Dubai World Trade Centre) in the United Arab Emirates attracted over 8,000 professionals representing 95 countries and 500 companies across the globe.

SPF Precut Lumber President, Muhammad Amir; Vice President of Sales, Fareed Amir; and General Manager, Mo Amir represented the company at the tradeshow, meeting various stakeholders and partners across the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent who attended the show.

  

 

BC Government Budget Announcement – February 16, 2016

VICTORIA, BC – As an invited guest of MLA Jane Thornthwaite, SPF Precut Lumber General Manager Mo Amir attended the British Columbia Government’s Budget Announcement at the BC Legislature in Victoria. Goodrich Group President, Sucha Seikhon, a long-time vendor for SPF Precut Lumber, also joined the announcement.
